As Chief Executive Officer for Miller County, her duties include the authorization, approval and disbursement of all appropriated county funds, county court, custodian of county property, and administrator of ordinances enacted by the Quorum Court. The Judge is also in charge of operations of the system of county roads, accepting grants from federal, state, public, and private sources. She hires county employees, except those persons employed by other elected officials, and he presides over the Quorum Court, without a vote but with the power of veto. As County Judge, she must apply for all federal and state assistance monies for which the county is eligible. She appoints members to all administrative and advisory boards in the county.
